Our Performance Training and Fitness Staff:
Jeanne Goodes is the Director of Apex Speed, Strength, and Conditioning. A former Officer in the United States Marine Corps, she has been working with and helping athletes and adults for over 10 years. After serving on Active Duty, she became a personal trainer and a strength and conditioning coach. Jeanne enjoys working with athletes of all ages and in all sports, while also helping adults reach their fitness and conditioning goals.
She has trained military operational forces, professional athletes, college athletes, elite athletes, and adults in speed, strength, and conditioning, while teaching injury prevention, working with post-rehab injury clients, and teaching nutrition classes to her clients.
Jeanne looks forward to training all adults and athletes who desire to reach their fitness goals and full athletic potential.
Lisa Barnard is the Assistant Director of Apex Performance Training and Fitness. Lisa comes to us from Connecticut where she interned at Quinnipiac University and Prentiss Hockey Performance. Lisa has years of strength and conditioning experience and is currently the assistant Women’s Lacrosse coach at Ohio Northern University. Lisa interned at Quinnipiac University in their strength and conditioning department working with all of their sports but mainly their Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Hockey, Lacrosse and Soccer Programs. Lisa has a Masters in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
